Boards of Canada are a Scottish electronic duo, and the most prominent act of art collective Hexagon Sun. Their sound features long drawn out melodies and structure, accompanied by broken up, sporadic rhythm. Known for their instrumentation, the group has been said to avoid a purely analogue sound, and commonly mixes in more conventional instrumentation.
