On the northwest slope overlooking a panoramic view of Whistler valley in British Columbia sits The Hadaway House. Challenged by the town’s incredibly strict building guidelines, Patkau Architects remained intent on designing a house that was truly one-of-a-kind. Founder John Patkau describes their finished masterpiece as “a spaceship in the middle of log cabins.”
The dramatically sloped roof helps the heavy snowfall from Whistler’s legendary winters stay off the house. With an ultra modern flair, this house is nothing less then a work of art.
