If you’re kicking off festival season with weekend one in the desert, now’s the time to start plotting your festival strategy.
2015's jam packed line-up, which runs over the next two weekends, April 10-12th and April 17-19th, has genres and performers to suit all musical tastes. With several sets overlapping, we've laid out our plan of action with tough decisions on who not to miss.
Friday
On Friday, you'll have to decide between Azealia Banks (5-5:45pm) and Kiesza (4:55-5:40pm). Here is why we'll be at Kiesza:
Norwegian blooded and Canadian born and raised, Kiesza is a growing name in the industry and a rising star that you don't want to miss. She was brought up as a surprise guest during Skrillex's recent set at Ultra. You probably first heard of her when she worked with Skrillex and Diplo on “Take U There,” a song from the new Jack Ü album. She has also written for other artists such as Rihanna and Icona Pop. We can't wait to see what she has in store for the next two weekends.
Later on Friday, you'll have to choose between Tame Impala (9:15pm - 10:05pm) and Todd Terje (9:20pm -10:15pm). Here is why we'll be at Tame Impala:
All the way from Down Under, Tame Impala is known for their excellent psychedelic rock pieces with a nostalgic yet fresh sound. Expect trippy vibes and strong guitars from these Australian artists as they grace your ears with what they call "hypno-groove melodic rock music".

Saturday
Saturday puts rocker Jack White up against rapper Tyler, the Creator and British newcomer FKA Twigs. Here is why we'll be at FKA Twigs (9:35pm - 10:25pm):
Quirky and talented, her debut album, titled “LP1,” was one of the greatest 2014 saw. According to Red Bull, "It wasn’t flashy. It wasn’t crafted as a statement. But it was singular and excellent. FKA twigs writes poetic lyrics and delicate melodies that only her controlled vocals can deliver."
