Tuesday morning took off with the Apple announcement we had all been waiting for. The Cupertino based company unveiled an impressive iPhone line-up we can’t wait to get our hands on.
First announced was the ‘unapologetically plastic’ iPhone 5c that will be starting at $99. Marking the return of color, the iPhone 5c will be available in green, white, blue, red and yellow. The 5c will feature a 4-inch Retina display, A6 chip, 8-megapixel iSight camera, and not to mention an enhanced FaceTime HD camera on the front… can you say selfie?!
Second up was the iPhone 5s, the crème de la crème of Apple. The phone will be offered in a more adult color palate of silver, gold, “space gray” and will start at $199. We saw more internal changes here- new A7 chip, 8-megapixel camera with a new f/2.2 aperture sensor (15 percent boost than the previous) and Touch ID. Apparently its ADIOS to pins and passwords, the new 5s sensor will allow your fingerprint to unlock and verify purchases.
