The collection is available immediately at select premium retail locations and online shopping destinations, including TAVIK.COM.

The Spring 2015 Collection unites premium fabrics to complement TAVIK’s focus on aesthetic designs. TAVIK Women’s Apparel Collection is designed to be taken from day to night and beach to street. Styles such as the ELIZA slub-linen shorts exudes subtle luxury, while the tulip hemmed LUCA romper and edgy back cut-out MARLO romper establish the line’s modern twist.

 “Continuing with the tech story trend seen in Long Beach, this show had no shortage of interesting talking points in that department. TAVIK is launching its Fall Men’s apparel and expanded bag collection—all featuring technical material and detailing.  The brand is rounding out an extremely successful month, according to CEO Erik Paulsen, who says the new product has been received well by core, boutique, and major electronics retailers like Best Buy and Apple.  The theme across the board is elevating materials, and features triple bonded fabric and HD Super Tech labels. TAVIK is also rolling out its power accessories, and expects to rolling out audio accessories later this year. Trying to grow its reach and present a unified brand story in key regions  such as Europe is a main goal for the brand this year, says Paulsen. The Northeast is also a focus for the brand: “We are working to develop our East Coast team. This is a big year to grow for us and that’s why we are out here.”

German duo Neu! recorded their first, self titled album in 1971, and have since become one of the more respected groups to emerge from the Krautrock scene. The albums first track, “Hallogallo”, was also a major landmark, featuring what was subsequently coined the “Motorik” beat. Many groups have since followed in Neu!’s footsteps, one in particular is that of Stereolab.

Listen to “Outer Accelerator” off of Stereolab’s 1994 album, Mars Audiac Quintet, as well as Neu!’s “Hallogallo”.

Past and Present is Tavik’s way of paying homage to the musicians that may have been forgotten, but continue to inspire us today. In each installment we take music from earlier generations and compare it to the songs they influence today.

Ace Future, Trevor Shawn, and Spencer Regan are a DJ/Producer collective rooted in curating good times.  By day you can catch them at the beach, and by night you can be sure find them in just about any style of nightclub until the the early hours of the morning.  Did you know that TREO and TAVIK go way back? Here's what the guys had to say...

"The three of us have known about TAVIK since the roots. We are all from different beach locations around the US (Ace from Newport, Spencer from Santa Barbara, and Trevor from Virginia Beach) and Tavik was making an early impression in the surf industry and we were exposed to it.  A few friends of ours actually surfed for Tavik awhile back.  We watched the progression of the brand to eventually see what it has become today, and we saw a brand that really morphed into a style that compliments ours very well.

Being that Miles (TAVIK's Marketing Coordinator) is and has been a good friend of ours, it only made sense that we at least tested the product out to see how we liked it and he was generous enough to hook us up with some.

The "I woke up like this" barely-there makeup trend is in full swing, as reflected on runways and in Spring 2015 color palettes. A barefaced look, a la Kate the Great in the 90's, is trendier than going to SoulCycle in Birkenstocks.

According to Byrdie, "none of the cool kids wear makeup." They refuse to try too hard and instead, are defining a new norm; a new standard of beauty.

Allure reports that Jason Wu's palette for Lancôme, coming out this July, has a "minimal but super-pretty look".

Harper's Baazar compiled a whole gallery of celebs sans-makeup and they look absolutely gorgeous.

GRYN is one of Los Angeles’ newest names in the deep house industry and unites Ethan Young and Alex Reinfeldt, two producers brought together by a mutual love of ridiculously fat bass, and an affinity for grooving.
