Hard to believe we’ve made it 10 days already, and everything is in proper full Miami swing. Like the day before, the boys went their own ways to begin the day.

Dim Mak Pool Party @ Raleigh Hotel

Trevor headed to Dim Mak to play an early b2b set with Sound of Stereo by the pool at the Raleigh Hotel, where Tavik beach balls bounced around all over. Dim Mak always puts on a great party, and this Miami edition was no different.

Jonah and Matt boldly took the bikes across the Venetian Causeway from South Beach to Downtown to board what turned out to be one of the best events of the week thus far — the Skrillex x Crookers x 12th Planet x Congorock B2B yacht party. The boat was massive, but the capacity was comfortable, and after unbelievable opening sets from Koan Sound and Alvin Risk, the 4 way B2B set now known as The Gentlemen’s Club played to a rowdy boat deck for 2 hours cruising around the Miami harbor.

The views were incredible and the music was spot on, and there was a shared feeling amongst every passenger on the boat that “THIS IS F**KING CRAZY” — even Sonny said it on the mic a few times. After a legendary voyage, we pulled back into the harbor wishing we had another 4 hours to do it again.

Meanwhile, Troy’s account of his day follows –

After Wednesday’s moody rain squalls, Thursday produced nothing but sunshine, so I was off to the Red Bull Guest House / Boiler Room party which was on the rooftop of the Dream Hotel which had some incredible ocean views and a bevy of models in skimpy bikinis. Back to the music, techno legend Carl Craig paid proper homage to Detroit, which was followed by John Talbot, who absolutely smashed. Jamie XX came on right as the sun was setting behind the pastel colored high rises of South Beach.

My 48 hour caloric intake was at an all time low, so after a much needed food break I made it over to Bardot where we had Slap & Tickle present Jerome LOL, Shlohmo, and Flume. The vibes on the carpet were so thick that I actually think I saw a few people crying.

+ Let’s finish the weekend STRONG #GDDRV +
