“Tavik Swimwear has a cult following of beach-goers from around the world. Their swimsuits are edgy and sports luxe yet feminine and sexy, think poolside glam meets surfing in Hawaii. We take a look at their 2015 spring/summer collections, these uber gorgeous swimsuits have us salivating. Their spring campaign was shot with a dark, sexy look and feel to it in contrast to the light and romantic mood of their summer campaign.”

Adding another notch to their ever-growing belt, Apple has expanded into wearables with the Apple Watch.
Covered today in great detail at the company's headquarters, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition.
The "most personal device" ever created, Apple Watch goes beyond a digital timepiece. It connects with any iPhone 5 or newer device to display notifications right on your wrist, activate Apple Pay, monitor health levels and much more. It can also be used as a personal assistant of sorts, sending alerts for upcoming appointments, notifying users if they've been sitting for too long and fielding social media notifications. Functions exclusive to Apple Watch wearers also include "Digital Touch" for sending sketches and sharing heartbeats, and "Glances" which can be customized for checking apps most frequently used.
Available in three versions, Apple Watch ranges from an everyday staple, to sporty and 18 karat gold versions with two options for face size. Pre-orders begin April 10th and pricing will range from $324 to a cool $10k for the gold version.

TAVIK followed up its second season of women’s apparel with more rompers and matching shirt-and-short sets that tie back to its swimwear. “We noticed girls were wearing our [swim] cover-ups into the night,” said Lauren Ching, sales support employee for Tavik, “so we focused on pieces you could wear during the day and into the night.”
Meet the Aiden Top and Eva Bottom. This fun and sexy combination makes an unbeatable Kate-Moss-and-Naomi-Campbell-caliber duo.
Heavily influenced by 90's Vogue editorials and fashion icons of that era, the Aiden Top and Eva Bottom feature subtle details that epitomize effortless chic. These pieces draw inspiration from the California landscape, utilizing a color pallet of soft ocean blues and dreamy metallics.
Photographer Yvonne Logan has us drooling over these photos of our favorite beach babe Rikki Barton.
The Aiden Top has a crisscross back and double straps with knot detail. Both pieces are finished with perfectly placed yet subtle crochet.
Arp is the solo project of Alexis Georgopoulos, and while not widely known, he utilizes a similar approach to the more textured synth-pioneers of the 60’s and 70’s (Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno). Each song is presented as a sort of meditation, focusing heavily on each individual rhythm, melody, tone, and presence with high regard for their subsequent interaction. Listen to Brian Eno’s “Another Green World” (1975), as well as Arp’s “From a Balcony Overlooking the Sea” (2010).
Past and Present is TAVIK's way of paying homage to the musicians that may have been forgotten, but continue to inspire us today. In each installment we take music from earlier generations and compare it to the songs they influence today.
We'll be out and about, so come have some fun with us. With four different Modern Beach parties throughout the Spring, you have no excuse not to come out and get suited up for Summer. We're celebrating the warmer weather and extra daylight with four trunk shows in Southern California. Enjoy good vibes, food and drinks while you score on the essentials that your wardrobe is missing. So, grab your planner (or your phone) and add these dates to your calendar.

On the northwest slope overlooking a panoramic view of Whistler valley in British Columbia sits The Hadaway House. Challenged by the town’s incredibly strict building guidelines, Patkau Architects remained intent on designing a house that was truly one-of-a-kind. Founder John Patkau describes their finished masterpiece as “a spaceship in the middle of log cabins.”
The dramatically sloped roof helps the heavy snowfall from Whistler’s legendary winters stay off the house. With an ultra modern flair, this house is nothing less then a work of art.
It is hard to put into perspective the vast amount of influence Kraftwerk has had on a variety of genres, forever changing the way we look at synthesized music. While they found their beginnings in a more typical instrumentation, they gradually evolved into the more robotic, minimal, and synthetic Kraftwerk we know today. Listen to “Taschenrechner” (Pocket Calculator), the first single off of their 1981 album, Computer World.

With festival season heating up, we've got a HUGE piece of advice and a major weekend-saving solution.
The lineup and set times. Your camera. Your Snapchat. Your means of finding the rest of your group. All of that is lost when your phone runs out of battery.
Don't let a dead phone leave you S.O.L. in the middle of the festival.
The TAVIK Form Backup Battery is a sleek and stylish way to make sure your phone keeps up with you while you rage in the desert into the wee hours of the night. It's made with 1500mAh of battery power, which means 8 more hours of iPhone use. Its ultra-slim square shape is about the size of a credit card, meaning it easily fits into pockets, handbags and fannies to pull out and use when you're in the red zone. And with a built-in Lightning cable, you don't have to worry about dragging around an extra cable that would surely end up god knows where on the floor of the Sahara Tent.
